Ready for Work

Ready for Work

Focal Length: 58mm; ISO 200; Exposure: 1/50 sec @ f/14; Camera: Canon EOS 50D (Click to Enlarge)

If found this tractor and farm machinery sitting out in the middle of a field during one of my photo outings. The bright green of the tractor, combined with the red of the machinery and the wood in the wagon caught my attention. The machine that the tractor is pulling is used for chopping hay which is dumped into the wagon. I wish I could have gotten some shots of it in operation, but that didn’t happen as the day was misty and wet which is not the conditions you want when cutting hay.

  1. Great shot…there is so much of that type of stuff around me.

    • Same here, Jason, I see this kind of stuff all the time when I get out and run the back roads around Raleigh. I just don’t get to do it as often as I like. Especially since gas prices have gone up so much.

  2. I meant my rating to be 5!

    Excellent!
